Artistic Frustrations

I am pretty frustrated at the moment, but I guess that is life and the life of an artist. I had a craft sale yesterday it was a complete  flop ...literally.... I go to set up and almost all set up and low and behold someone leans against the table and it collapses, thank goodness nothing broke. ( Go  plastic in frames ).




And as far as selling stuff it was a flop  as well. I sold nothing unless you count the two bracelets I traded for a cute winter owl hat.  I had people make comments about how they liked my stuff but no one bought it. One of the other vendors said she seen a lot of art before and mine is good and suggested  from to try selling online. Then today I get up early to sign up for my courses for school in January and  I couldn't get into the studio art course, of course I got into art history and abnormal psychology  but not he intro studio course which is the whole reason I am going back to school.  I sent an email and called to professor and because I had a sneaky suspicion that this might happen because of the way  the course selection is set up for studio courses I had wrote my name on the waitlist already when I was in the fine arts building at the university. I am really hoping it works out because I really don't know what I will do if it doesn't.

 I also have to go clean out my room today because I am moving next Monday.  I'm moving out of my parents house   I'm excited but nervous about that. It's right before Christmas but  the location is close to my parents so it will make transitioning easier and I want to get settled before  I start school in January.   That is stressful too  though moving to a new place but it's what is best for me at the moment in order to move forward in life. Change is scary but it is necessary.
